I am writing this letter regarding Perry Pool who just recently built a pool and spa for my home. I could not be happier with the quality of work done by this company. I had heard all of the horror stories regarding pool companies, and talked to several, before deciding on Perry Pools. My husband and I were sure we were going to use another company until we met David Perry and saw the incredible results of his efforts. The night we signed the contract, we asked how long this process would take; we were told three weeks from dig. Our filter unit was turned on exactly three weeks from dig! That is unheard of! Construction always takes longer than what is estimated—not ours—right on schedule! In our estimation, there is no comparison! Everything was done swiftly and accurately. Whatever I was told would happen, happened. There were no surprises. All who had a part of our construction were very friendly and seemed to care about leaving the construction area clean and orderly. If I ever had a question or concern, I could & would call, if Diane couldn’t answer the question, she would find out the answer within minutes and get back to me. I never felt alone in this process—always had great support and comfort knowing all would be done and done properly.
I could be a walking, talking billboard for this company. I can’t say it enough—I love my pool—this is the best money I have ever spent! Nights seem to fly by—my husband hasn’t watched television in weeks—he is actually talking with the kids and I—we are spending quality time together. Perry Pools—Would I recommend them? Without a moment’s hesitation! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You are the best!

In this day and age where most pool companies have a less than desirable reputation, I wanted to take this opportunity to share a very pleasant experience that we had in building our pool.
We received several quotes from pool builders and went with Perry Pools and Spas because of the owner, David Perry’s excellent interpersonal skills as well as his obvious knowledge of the business. Mr. Perry was very responsive to our needs and was always available to answer any questions that we had day or night.
Mr. Perry explained the process in great detail and made us feel very comfortable. We were given a schedule of events and to our amazement, each contractor showed up on time and were very effective in their work. Mr. Perry made daily check-ins to supervise the work and ensured that we were happy every step of the way. All of the contractors used were also told to keep our area extremely clean and to minimize our inconvenience.

As reluctant as I (Sergio) was to even entertain the idea of a pool, you managed to address each issue we threw at you as potential obstacles. What we were most impressed with was your ability to quickly rectify any “difficulties” that came up once construction began. We realize that what seemed to us as disasters, you deal with on a daily basis.
All your crews were professional, meticulous and left the workplace tidy. Diane was terrific to deal with as was Sue at Southwest Bank, whom you recommended we contact as a source for financing.

I am writing this letter in regards to Perry Pools who built a pool for my residence. Being such a big decision, and permanent investment, my husband and I spoke with several pool companies before we decided on Perry Pools. And thus that leads me to this letter. I wanted somehow to recognize Perry Pools for their outstanding work. We want future pool builders to know, by choosing Perry Pools they receive professionalism, and a quality of work that will be around many years to enjoy.
Our choice for Perry Pools was plainly that he handled all his own accounts, and made a special effort to visit our home daily while the pool was being built. Mr. David Perry is the owner of this company but still made the time to meet with us on the initial visit, diagram our pool for us, and guide his contractors to build us a wonderful pool.
We have known several people that have had pools built since ours was done. They have all had many problems such as companies not completing the work, half-way doing the job, and the extended time they have needed to finish the job. My husband and I constantly say, “We never had those problems with Perry, we are very lucky we picked him.” People have told us constantly that they wish they had used Perry Pools instead of the company they picked. Mr. Perry’s commitment to the work he produces should be recognized as an outstanding member of the Better Business Bureau.

Dear BBB –
This past summer we contracted with David Perry Pools and Spas to install a swimming pool at our newly purchased residence. By way of background, this was our fifth experience with new pools. I cannot describe the superior level of service, workmanship, ownership, “hands-on” involvement and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, support long after the pool was completed. In my experience, this has been unparalleled!
Our installation encountered the to be expected challenges and unknowns that can be expected in these type of projects. However, at EVERY step David not only reacted but was PERSONALLY and on site to address each issue. As impressive as this was, the real proof of quality and commitment came over this past holiday season when we encountered a technical problem that was actually the responsibility of one of his suppliers. Instead of the all-too-often “no longer my problem” attitude, we received the service we required and the problem was fixed. Two additional factors made then even more noteworthy.

1. It was over the holiday period and my sense is that David was on a well earned vacation. Thus, the onus feel to his office support staff and especially one of his subcontractors, Darrin Zwernerman of Z’s Swimming Pool, who “made it happen.” In the case of the latter, this was accomplished despite miserable weather and in the peak of the holiday season.
2. We left town on a trip and had to leave the actual repair process and reactivation of pool systems to Perry Pools. Upon our return, EVERYTHING and then some was accomplished.

As indicated earlier, my past experience in this area has made me very appreciative of the service we received. This was further reinforced as, on a daily basis, I listen to the horror stories of one of my colleagues who had the misfortune of contracting with Anthony Sylvan Pools in the Woodlands for his unit which, after over three months, is still not completed.
Should anyone need a recommendation for Perry Pools, I am readily available to share with them our experience.

Happy New Year!
As promised some time ago, I have sent this to the BBB. The e-mail address I used for you I picked up off their site bounced as having too many characters. I made a minor change and am still not sure it worked so wanted to follow up with this copy.
Darrin really bailed us out. Man! The one afternoon he was here I had two sweaters and a heavy jacket on and he was in shirtsleeves after the sun went down. I was concerned leaving it still torn up waiting for the filter guys to do their thing. But, voila!, all done when we returned after New Years in Vegas.
I saw that Sean made All District. I do hope he gets the scholarship offer. Air Force, or whatever that will reward him for all his hard work. I was never able to get to any of his games. So, now I’ll just have to watch him play on TV in college!
All the best in ’04. I am reminded of you every morning I pass the Duck Board on 290 when you are “posted.” I must say you are probably the only pool builder whose social life is traced on a major highway!!!

Dear Potential Pool Buyer:
My husband and I have owner our Perry Pool for one year now. I asked my husband a couple weeks ago, “If you could change anything about the pool what would it be?” His answer was “Nothing.” Now that is a satisfied pool owner! How many things have you owned for a year without thinking, what if we had done it this way, or maybe we should have gone with someone else.
I think the scariest thing about getting a pool is worrying if you are selecting the right pool builder. Buying a pool is nothing we just “jumped into”, excuse the pun. We interviewed pool builders for one year, we checked out BBB on all companies, we looked at and visited with pool owners of the builders.
What made us pick Perry Pools out of all that? We felt comfortable with David, he was professional and responsive to our questions, his previous clients were very satisfied, his BBB report was clean, and a real biggie was he did not pressure us.
David was true to his word, start to finish was the time frame he had quoted. His subcontractors are excellent craftsman in their fields. Once the job was finished, any time we have had to call for a small repair, the response has been just as good as if we were new business. Now that is the mark of a true professional.
